Q: I’m not sure if my son will be able to hold up for an entire day at camp. Can I sign him up for a half day but still have the option for a full day of lacrosse camp?
A: Yes! Go ahead and sign your son up for the Junior Rebel half-day plan, then when your son falls in love with the camp and doesn’t want to leave, you will have the option to extend his day for an additional $25 per day.
Q: We’re not from Walpole, but we know that Walpole High School Lacrosse and Walpole Youth Lacrosse are excellent programs. Can my out-of-town son attend the Walpole Rebel Lacrosse Camp?
A: Absolutely! Walpole Lacrosse believes in supporting the sport of lacrosse and enhancing the game by welcoming all boys who want to learn lacrosse and have fun. Sign him up!
Q: The economy is tough these days. Are there any scholarships available for the Walpole Rebel Lacrosse Camp?
A: The Walpole Rebel Lacrosse Boosters have made available a limited number of scholarships to the Walpole Rebel Lacrosse Camp. Please contact us, using the form below, for further details.
Q: My son has never played lacrosse, but he would love to learn, is this the right camp for him?
A: Only if he wants to learn from the best coaching staff available while having fun. Your son will still be required to have a full set of equipment for the camp (see below) and a desire to learn.
Q: Does my son need to bring all of his equipment?
A: Yes! Safety is VERY important! All campers are required to have with them: a helmet with a chin strap, a mouth guard, a cup, shoulder/chest pads, elbow pads, gloves, a stick. As Bird Middle School provides a natural grass field, cleats are recommended.
Q: My son is the next Paul Rabil, will this camp provide enough of a challenge for him?
A: The Walpole High School Lacrosse program captured the 2009 MIAA Division II State Championship, as well as generated many NCAA Division I and Division II recruits. The staff of the WHS Lacrosse program is well versed in advanced lacrosse techniques and training exercises which will be put to good use during the high action scrimmages. Teams and scrimmages are determined by the coaching staff based upon skill/age level. Your son WILL be challenged.
